When you contact IWF, join email updates, apply to volunteer, or express chapter interest, we may receive your name, email, school or organization, areas of interest, location, and information included in your submission. Please share only what is relevant.

Information is used to send updates you selected, respond to inquiries, review volunteer or chapter applications, organize programs, coordinate contributors, and maintain basic participation records. IWF does not sell personal information or advertising lists.

If a program may be photographed or recorded, participants will be informed. Individual images, names, or quotations will not be used as public participant features without appropriate permission.

Before a minor receives Portal access or begins volunteer work, IWF requires the participant’s assent and verified consent from a parent or legal guardian. School approval is separate and may also be required. For low-age paths, IWF first verifies guardian authorization for the minimum intake and account data before collecting those details or issuing an invitation. The public eligibility check asks only for an age band and, for a minor path, participation jurisdiction; it does not request or retain a date of birth or identity information.

IWF may use services such as Google Forms, email, video-conferencing, and project-management tools to receive and organize information. Access should be limited to people who need it for the relevant program. Records should be deleted or anonymized when they are no longer reasonably needed.

IWF uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page views, visits, referral sources, and website performance. It is used to improve the website and understand its reach, not to build advertising profiles. Cloudflare describes this service as not tracking individual visitors.
